Keyworth United are one of the county's most famous (and largest) Amateur Football Clubs. Enjoying over 100 years of football the club currently boasts eighteen teams right through to under 8's. Residing at Platt Lane the club is only one of six in Nottinghamshire to have been awarded charter standard community club status. The club has also recently been awarded the Nottinghamshire Football Association community club of the year, and is a development centre for Leicester City Football Club.
