Meadows joined the NSL with their Reserve side in 2008. With the
clubs first team at step six of the National League System and
currently playing in the recently developed East Midlands Counties
League, the Reserve team became founder members of the NSL's Second
Division, being placed in the leagues First Division upon entry.
Greenwood Meadows were formed in 1987 following an amalgamation
between Meadows Albion (of the Spartan & district League) and
Greenwood FC (a Notts Alliance side who were formed in 1956). |
